GCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test)

Introduction

Gujarat Common Entrance Test – GCET is the common admission test conducted for admission to all the Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses offered in the various Institutes / Colleges run in the state of Gujarat except the IIM, Ahmedabad.

Candidates who can clear G-CET can apply for the various management programs offered through the different Institutes/University Departments/Colleges in the state of Gujarat.

Gujarat common entrance test (GCET) is given more importance by many MBA aspirants since it gives admission to many reputed MBA institutions throughout the state. GCET is always regarded as an option in addition to CAT by the MBA aspirants since the universities that come under GCET are the pioneers in providing excellent management courses.

How to apply

The Admission Bulletins and Applications Forms of Gujarat-CET will be available in person only from the following centers during working days on payment of the specified amount in cash per Bulletin. The Bulletins will not be sent by post or courier:

Eligibility

Candidates who have graduated in a degree course of minimum 3 years duration from a University out side Gujarat State but have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a school located in Gujarat State is eligible to appear for GCET.

Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. In case of SC/ST candidates 5% relaxation is given as per rules. 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) will be computed on the basis of grand total in final year mark sheet issued by the concerned University.

A candidate who has appeared at the final year (Bachelors Degree) examination of any University recognized by Association of Indian Universities shall be treated provisionally eligible for GCET.
